Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Acre. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for various publications, such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Select appropriate typeface, font size, and spacing for optimum readability
- Check for spelling and grammatical errors
- Ensure consistency in layout and formatting throughout the publication
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to create a cohesive final product
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typography, layout design, and desktop publishing software (such as InDesign or QuarkXPress)
- Attention to detail and excellent visual sense
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Excellent time-management skills

This is a contract job with a salary of $1200 per month. We welcome Indian candidates who are fluent in English. Experience is required for this position.
