Electrical Engineer - Biometric Passport Project (Contract)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Washington on a contract basis. As part of our biometric passport project, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the electrical systems for our advanced passport technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for biometric passport technology
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, and project managers
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
- Develop and maintain project documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the biometrics or security industry
- Extensive knowledge of circuit design, microcontrollers, and power electronics
- Experience with PCB layout design software such as Altium or Eagle
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Salary: $1500 per week (negotiable)
Location: Washington, United States (open to Canadian applicants)
