Location: Herning, Denmark



As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and installing metal structures and products. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting metal pieces, welding and soldering parts together, and finishing the product with paint or other coatings.

To excel in this role, you must have strong technical skills in metalworking and the ability to follow detailed instructions. You should also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in metalworking is not required but would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and join metal pieces using various tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Operate machinery safely and effectively to complete tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with metal materials

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship in metalworking preferred
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or related field would be an asset but not required
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following instructions accurately
- Ability to use various hand tools and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Physical dexterity and strength to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members on projects
