Cashier for Busy Los Angeles Store
Our store in the bustling city of Los Angeles is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions and providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Process exchanges, returns, and refunds according to store policies
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Follow all safety and security procedures while handling cash and merchandise
- Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed
- Handle any customer complaints or issues with professionalism
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
We offer competitive salary of $1600 per month along with opportunities for growth within the company. Accommodation can also be provided for those relocating from abroad. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
