Indian Miner (Contract)


A mining company in Nakuru is seeking an experienced Indian Miner to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in underground mining and a valid blasting certificate. As a miner, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, drilling, blasting, and extracting minerals from the earth. You must be physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in underground mining
- Valid blasting certificate
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as drills, excavators, and loaders

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery to extract minerals from the earth
- Drill holes for blasting
- Load explosives into blast holes
- Monitor equipment and maintain safety standards at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient mining operations
- Complete daily production reports
