Location: Alta, Norway
Salary: $1000 per month
Are you a skilled and creative Pastry Chef with a passion for creating delicious desserts? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Alta, Norway.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
- Decorate and present desserts in an attractive and appetizing manner.
- Develop new dessert recipes or adapt existing ones to suit the restaurant's menu.
- Ensure all desserts are prepared according to food safety standards.
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and equipment needed for pastry preparation.
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- In-depth knowledge of various dessert techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders at once.
- Creativity and attention to detail for creating visually appealing desserts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Team player with strong leadership skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus).
