Radio Technician - Contract Role in Alta, Norway



We are hiring a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Alta, Norway. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various radio equipment used for communication purposes. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of our radio systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure various types of radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related devices
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any technical issues with the radio equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed to ensure optimal performance of the radio systems
- Test and calibrate new or repaired equipment to ensure it meets industry standards and specifications
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on the radio systems
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments in order to make recommendations for improvements to our existing systems
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects for new radio systems

Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different types of radios, their components, and their functions
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and tools used for identifying technical issues with radios
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals to install, repair, or maintain radio equipment effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract role. As this is an own visa job opportunity, candidates must have valid work authorization in Norway.
