Junior Database Administrator



We are currently hiring a Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases to ensure their performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Create and maintain database users and permissions
- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for application development
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and data encryption
- Develop and implement data migration processes between databases
- Provide technical support to users for database-related inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with database administration tools (e.g. SQL Management Studio)
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
