Commercial Architect
A creative and detail-oriented Commercial Architect is needed to join our team in Lisbon. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts for commercial buildings
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, address issues, and provide solutions as needed
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial architecture
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Salary: $1700 per month (without accommodation)
Location: Lisbon (candidates who are already located in Lisbon will be given preference)
Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
