Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Odense. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement preservation plans that maintain the integrity and historical significance of these structures. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments of existing buildings, researching historical materials and techniques, developing restoration strategies, and overseeing construction projects. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring compliance with local building codes.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, as well as knowledge of historical preservation techniques. You should also possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Attention to detail and strong project management skills are essential for success in this position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- 3+ years of experience in architectural design or historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation techniques and materials
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural software
