Head Pastry Chef
As the Head Pastry Chef at our luxury hotel in Lusail, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual with a passion for creating delectable desserts and pastries. You will be responsible for menu development, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a pastry chef, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and visually appealing dessert menus
- Develop recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Oversee inventory management and order supplies as needed
- Train new pastry staff on techniques, recipes, and standards
- Supervise pastry team to ensure quality and efficiency
- Monitor food costs to maintain profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for desserts
- Fluent in English
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
