Job Title: Cashier - Al Buraymi, Oman
We are hiring a Cashier to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, managing cash and card payments, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and card payments with attention to detail
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash at the end of each shift
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally
- Basic math skills for calculating transactions and managing change
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
