Plasterboard Worker



We are currently hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Akron. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard on walls and ceilings in various residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month, plus accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific dimensions
- Install plasterboard on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair damaged plasterboard as needed
- Apply finishing coats of plaster or joint compound to create smooth surface
- Sand down rough areas and apply additional coats for desired finish
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Plasterboard Worker preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasterboards, adhesives, and joint compounds
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods of time, and work in awkward positions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements
- Fluent in English
