Interpreter (Filipino/English) - Washington, D.C.


We are hiring an experienced Filipino/English interpreter to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services in both Filipino and English languages. You will work with various clients and assist them with communication in meetings, conferences, and other events.

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in both Filipino and English languages
- Previous experience as an interpreter is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in using interpretation equipment
- Must have a biometric passport
- Able to work without accommodation
- Suitable for men

Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations accurately between Filipino and English speakers
- Translate written documents from Filipino to English and vice versa
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Assist clients with communication needs as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted information
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong command of both the Filipino and English languages. You must also have previous experience as an interpreter and be able to handle fast-paced environments. A biometric passport is required for this position.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Washington, D.C. The working hours may vary depending on the client's needs, which may include weekends or evenings. The job does not provide accommodation, so candidates must be able to work without it.
