Office Assistant (Contract)
We are in search of a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in La-Condamine on a contract basis. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
