Hotel Sales Manager - Muscat, Oman

As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel in Muscat. You will develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Your primary goal will be to exceed sales targets and increase profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other partners
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
- Plan and attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel
- Monitor competitors' activities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to sales efforts
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Manage the sales team's performance by setting goals, providing training, and conducting regular evaluations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Knowledge of the local market in Muscat is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
