Entry Level Turner in Mombasa


We are a leading manufacturing company in Mombasa and we are currently seeking an Entry Level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to fabricate, repair or modify metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Set up machines, including lathes and grinders, to perform specific operations such as cutting, drilling, milling or shaping
- Operate machines to fabricate metal parts, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Inspect finished parts for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in machine tool technology or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings
- Experience operating machines in a manufacturing setting is an asset but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
