Librarian

A prestigious library in the historic city of Acre is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources and providing excellent customer service to our patrons. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and locating materials
- Plan and coordinate library events, such as book clubs or author talks
- Train and supervise library staff members
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Stay updated on new library technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in using library management systems and other technology tools
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members

Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in English, have knowledge of Indian or Pakistani literature, and have experience working with diverse communities. This position is suitable for men without accommodation.
