Tiler/Tile Setter


A reputable construction company in Dickirch is seeking an experienced Tiler/Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone, in residential and commercial settings. This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $1000 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut and shape tiles according to design specifications
- Prepare surfaces by leveling and cleaning them
- Mix and apply adhesives and grout to secure tiles
- Install tile using various techniques such as mortar bed, thinset, and backer board
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and leveled
- Seal finished tile work to protect against water damage
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or Tile Setter
- Proficiency in measuring and cutting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans
- Knowledge of different tile materials, patterns, and layouts
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in installation work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or apprenticeship in tiling or related field
- Experience with mosaic tiling or decorative elements
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with tile saws and other tools
