Typesetter (Gujrat, India)

A publishing company in Gujrat is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent knowledge of typesetting software, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality publications
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new typesetting software
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong eye for detail and ability to spot errors in text and layout
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or relevant field is preferred
- Must have own visa/work permit for employment in India
