Network and Systems Administrator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Khanpur. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in network administration, systems administration, and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network servers and technology tools such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Install and configure software, hardware, and networks.
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment to ensure availability of supplies.
- Manage security solutions including firewall, anti-virus software, and patch updates.
- Perform regular data backups to protect against data loss.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration or systems administration.
- Knowledge of network security practices and procedures.
- Experience with networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs etc.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux) etc.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.

Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract position.

Experience:
Experience in network and systems administration is required for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Khanpur and preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Khanpur or willing to relocate.
