Contract Librarian in Izhevsk, Russia

We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Contract Librarian to join our team in Izhevsk, Russia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and information requests, and maintaining the library's physical and digital resources. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain library collection, including cataloging new materials
- Assist patrons with research and information requests
- Plan and implement library programs and events
- Maintain library's physical space and ensure it is welcoming and organized
- Manage electronic databases and online resources
- Create displays to promote new materials or events
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop policies and procedures for the library

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian
- Fluency in English (Russian language skills are an asset)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be legally eligible to work in Russia with visa sponsorship available

Salary:
$1300 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
