Data Analyst - Lisbon, Portugal (Contract)

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data to identify trends and insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations. This is a contract position in Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical methods to clean and validate data
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel, or Tableau to identify patterns and trends
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with statistical software (R, Python) is a plus
- Familiarity with database design principles and experience working with databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1600 per month

We welcome candidates who possess an own visa as this is a contract position. Experience in the preferred location of Lisbon is desired but not required.
