Information Technology Manager vacancy in Alta Norway

IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations. Based in Alta, the IT Manager will be responsible for managing our company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information technology principles and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technology operations and ensure smooth functioning of systems
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Monitor network security and implement necessary measures to protect against cyber threats
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT services and support when needed
- Train employees on proper use of technology systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security systems
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively under pressure
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Alta (accommodation provided)

Contract: Full-time (urgent job)
