As a part-time Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our company's databases. You will work closely with our IT team to maintain and optimize database systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement backup and recovery strategies. Your role will also involve monitoring database activity and providing recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in database administration, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Salary: 1700$ per month

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize database systems to ensure maximum performance and availability
- Troubleshoot issues with databases and provide timely resolutions
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity
- Monitor database activity to identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure proper integration with other systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security, and integrity
- Working knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills

Working Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
