Blast Furnace Operator


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Zagreb. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the blast furnace equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality iron and steel products. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, monitoring temperatures and pressures, and adjusting controls to maintain optimal production levels. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Make adjustments to controls as needed to maintain optimal production levels
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and make minor repairs as needed
- Keep detailed records of production levels, equipment performance, and any maintenance or repairs performed
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or processes as they arise
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace operation role
- Strong technical skills with the ability to operate complex machinery
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to extreme temperatures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts

Salary: $1500 USD per month
