Customer Service Cashier - Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service Cashier to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and discounts
- Assist customers with product inquiries and locate items in the store
- Ensure all items are properly scanned and priced before bagging
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Follow all cash handling procedures to prevent theft or errors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for calculating change and processing refunds/exchanges
