Painter (Contract)


We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in Akron. As a Contract Painter, you will be responsible for painting various surfaces and structures according to project specifications. This is a contract position, so no prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shade
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Create decorative finishes and textures as needed
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety precautions are taken while working with paints and chemicals
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for painting
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- Pakistani or Filipino nationality preferred
- Ability to work on a contract basis with no prior experience required
- Basic understanding of color theory and mixing paints
- Physically fit and able to work on ladders or scaffolding if needed
- Good communication skills in English preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project needs
