Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Bergen. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with data mining tools and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data from various sources
- Identify patterns and trends through data mining techniques
- Develop statistical models to predict future outcomes
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
- Continuously monitor data quality and integrity

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or other programming languages
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Experience with data mining tools such as Tableau or SAS
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment
