Barista (Temporary, Entry-Level)

We are a busy coffee shop located in the heart of Bergen, seeking a temporary Barista to join our team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience in the coffee industry or for recent graduates looking to start their career.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks for our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and providing excellent customer service.

This is a temporary position, perfect for someone with a flexible schedule or someone who is looking to gain experience during their summer break. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks according to our standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including equipment, counters, and seating areas
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
- No previous experience required - we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Must have a valid visa that allows you to work in Bergen
- Must have excellent communication skills in English
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service

Salary:
Starting salary for this entry-level position is $1400 per month.
