Bilingual Interpreter
We are in need of a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Roskilde. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your main role will be to accurately convey the meaning and tone of spoken words from one language to another.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between individuals who do not share a common language
- Interpret speech from one language to another in real-time settings such as business meetings, conferences, and interviews
- Translate written documents from one language to another with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and understanding when interpreting
- Utilize specialized vocabulary and terminology in various fields such as legal, medical, or technical
- Proofread translated materials for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
Requirements:
- Fluency in two or more languages including English and Danish (or other Scandinavian languages)
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages with the ability to interpret accurately and clearly convey information
- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology is a plus
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Salary: 1800$ per month
Location: Roskilde, Denmark
