Data Analyst - Biometric Passport Specialist



As a Data Analyst - Biometric Passport Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing biometric data for passports in Greenland. Your main role will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, as well as identify any anomalies or errors in the system. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze biometric data for passports, including fingerprints, facial recognition, and iris scans
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data by cross-checking with other systems
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the system
- Monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Create reports and presentations on biometric data analysis findings
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to biometric passport data management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or management
- Knowledge of biometric technology and its applications in passport systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns or anomalies in large datasets
- Proficient in using statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Fluency in English (Greenlandic language skills are a plus)

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Greenland. Remote work options may be available.
