We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Akron. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to construct or repair metal structures and equipment. Your duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate welding techniques and materials, and ensuring the quality of your work meets industry standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder, be proficient in English, and possess strong attention to detail. This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Salary is $1200 per week.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Proficient in English
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with different welding techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine required welding tasks
- Select appropriate welding techniques based on project specifications
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, cutting or grinding as needed
- Perform various types of welding such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ensure the quality of your work meets industry standards by inspecting welds for defects or imperfections
- Maintain equipment and tools used for welding tasks in good condition
- Adhere to all safety procedures while carrying out welding tasks
