Front-End Developer



As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites and applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing the front-end design and functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to ensure high-quality code and a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Translate design wireframes into responsive web pages
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the best possible user experience
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic
- Optimize website/app performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot coding issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Stay updated on emerging web development technologies and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap)
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms (e.g. Sass)
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Funchal (remote work may be considered)

Contract type: Full-time or part-time contract
