Instrument Technician



We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on instruments to ensure accurate measurements and reliable operation
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve instrument issues
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and create reports as needed
- Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements in instrument technology
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to instrumentation
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and ability to use testing equipment such as multimeters
- Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
