English Tutor


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English Tutor to join our team in Bayan, Kenya. As an English Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or group lessons to students of various ages and levels. Your main goal will be to help students improve their English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum tailored to individual student needs
- Provide engaging and interactive lessons that promote active learning
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Keep track of student attendance and maintain accurate records of lesson materials
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other tutors or teachers to share ideas and resources
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and techniques in the field of English language instruction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as an English Tutor or teacher in a classroom setting
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes (i.e. online platforms, educational apps)
- Must have a valid work permit or be eligible for employment in Kenya

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 USD per month.

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The successful candidate will not be provided accommodation but must have their own visa allowing them to work in Kenya.
