Experienced Turner for Contract Work in Sheduva, Canada


We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our team for contract work in Sheduva, Canada. As a Turner, you will be responsible for using specialized machinery and tools to shape and cut metal pieces according to specific measurements and designs. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate manual or computer-controlled machines to perform turning operations on metal pieces
- Use various cutting tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and milling machines to shape and finish metal pieces
- Ensure accuracy of measurements by using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain machinery and tools by performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating manual or computer-controlled machinery
- Strong understanding of cutting tools and their functions
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate measurements
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Must have own transportation
