Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network and computer systems. Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and ensuring maximum network uptime
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Managing user accounts, permissions, email, and security settings
- Performing system backups and disaster recovery operations
- Maintaining software licenses and keeping track of hardware inventory
- Providing technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ year of experience as a Network or Systems Administrator preferably in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols including DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, etc.
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to think analytically
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.
