Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faro. As a Contract employee, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's network and computer systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, virtualization, and security protocols. You must also possess excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and file storage
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures
- Conduct regular backups of all systems to prevent data loss
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and MacOS
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP) and routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
