Freelance Interpreter (Greenland)


We are in need of a talented and experienced Freelance Interpreter to join our team in Greenland. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for various clients in a variety of settings. This is a contract job with the flexibility to work on your own schedule. Freshers with exceptional language skills are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interpretation services in person, over the phone, or through video conferencing
- Accurately convey spoken messages from one language to another
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while working with sensitive information
- Research and prepare for upcoming interpretation assignments to ensure accuracy and knowledge of subject matter
- Assure quality of interpretation by reviewing and proofreading translated materials
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information prior to interpretation sessions

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of cultural differences and ability to adapt accordingly
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Own valid visa/work permit for Greenland (if not a citizen)

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
