Cashier for Retail Store in Acre, Kenya


We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail store in Acre, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate cash registers, and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and bag items accurately using the cash register system
- Process payments using various methods (cash, credit/debit cards)
- Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Upsell products and services to customers when appropriate

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
