Job Title: Industrial Architect


We are a leading architecture firm based in Faroe-Islands, seeking an experienced Industrial Architect to join our team on a contract basis. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning industrial buildings such as factories, warehouses, and manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop designs and plans for various industrial buildings based on client requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the building.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess potential construction challenges.
- Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Review and approve construction materials and methods to ensure compliance with building codes.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Provide guidance and support to junior architects in the team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial architecture.
- Proficiency in CAD software, as well as other design tools like SketchUp or Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to industrial construction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:
Our company offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. Accommodation will not be provided; however, we offer free visa sponsorship and flight tickets for all nationalities.
