Software Tester

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function properly. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any issues or bugs, as well as suggest improvements for future releases. Your main goal is to ensure that our software products are user-friendly, reliable, and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Test software applications for functionality, usability, and reliability
- Identify and report any bugs or issues to the development team
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and suggest improvements
- Create and execute test plans and cases based on project requirements
- Document test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Conduct regression testing to ensure fixes have been implemented correctly
- Keep track of all testing activities and communicate progress to project managers
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing methodologies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of software testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar
- Understanding of coding languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal, Portugal (free visa and ticket provided)
