Senior Accountant - Aalborg, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide support to management in making strategic business decisions
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed
- Keep up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This is a contract position based in Aalborg, Denmark. Relocation assistance is not provided.
