We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. Your main duties will include monitoring machine performance, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make any necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
- Record production data such as quantity, type of product, and any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role
- Experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if required
- Flexibility to work different shifts if needed

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

Salary:
$1400 per month

Location:
Nairobi, Kenya

Employment Type:
Contract (with possibility for permanent position)
