Database Administration Specialist
Location: Shan, India


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administration Specialist to join our team in Shan, India. As a member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance. In this role, you will work closely with IT teams to ensure that all database systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain database management software
- Monitor database performance and tune database parameters for optimal performance
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for all databases
- Troubleshoot any database issues and provide timely resolution
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing data validation techniques
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Perform data migrations between different database platforms as needed
- Maintain security controls to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Database Administration
- Strong knowledge of SQL language
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server or other relational databases
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: $1200 per month
