Preservation Architect (Contract Position)

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Faro, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will work closely with our clients to preserve and restore historic buildings and structures. Your role will involve conducting site surveys, preparing reports and drawings, and overseeing the restoration process.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Prepare detailed reports and drawings outlining preservation plans and recommendations
- Oversee the restoration process, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with preservation standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of preservation projects
- Stay up-to-date with preservation techniques, materials, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
