Data Analyst - Entry Level


We are seeking a driven and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team in Akron. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify trends and insights that will help inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and programming, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize data from various sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data sets and identify patterns
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and develop solutions
- Implement data models and algorithms to improve data analysis processes
- Identify areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role or internship is preferred but not required

Salary: $1600 per month
