As a Typesetter at our media company in Oslo, Norway, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality print and digital materials. Your main responsibility will be to format and arrange text and graphics into visually appealing layouts for books, newspapers, magazines, and other publications.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in typesetting and a keen eye for detail. You should also be familiar with various design software such as Adobe InDesign and have strong knowledge of typography and layout principles. Additionally, proficiency in both English and Norwegian is required.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and graphics using design software
- Ensure all content is accurately aligned, sized, and spaced
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and designers to create visually appealing layouts
- Proofread final designs for errors before printing or publishing
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Strong understanding of typography and layout principles
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly
- Bilingual in English and Norwegian
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
