Blast Furnace Operator



We are looking for a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Mombasa. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces that melt iron ore and other materials to produce molten pig iron. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate blast furnaces and monitor temperature, pressure, and other variables to ensure efficient production
- Control the flow of materials into the furnace, adjusting as needed to maintain proper levels
- Monitor equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Regularly inspect and maintain machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operations
- Work with a team to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Blast Furnace Operator or similar role in an industrial setting preferred
- Strong understanding of blast furnace operations, including temperature control, material flow, and equipment maintenance
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads and work in hot environments for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends if needed

Salary:

The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:

This job is located in Mombasa. While preference will be given to Indian candidates, all applicants are welcome.
